Yes, we have! Doroni Aerospace has successfully completed over 70 test flights with our initial prototypes, achieving one of the first-ever manned eVTOL test flights in the United States. These historic milestones were made possible after being granted an FAA Special Airworthiness Certificate for prototype testing.

These flight tests on our initial demonstrator allowed us to successfully validate our unique propulsion, aerodynamics, and control systems. Building on this success, our goal is to build new, separate flying prototypes for our upcoming flight test campaign in 2027. Current projections indicate that these units are expected to be ready and actively used in rigorous test flights in 2027, with the objective of achieving FAA certification by the end of that year.
